Public Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Election of McBride Community Forest Board of Directors will be held on November 27 & 28, 2026 (in accordance with the Board Election Policy), and that nominations for three (3) Director positions will be received as follows:
– By hand at the office of McBride Community Forest, 200 Robson Centre
– By mail at PO Box 370, McBride, BC, V0J 2E0;
– Or by email at contact@mcfc.ca.
Qualifications for the position of Director
To qualify for nomination, a person must:
• reside within the MCF catchment area, as defined by any area within the Holmes River and Catfish Creek
• be a Canadian Citizen
• be 18 years of age or older
• have a nomination form signed by no less than ten (10) eligible voters (eligible voters are residentsat least 18 years old who have resided in the MCF catchment area for at least 12 months).
Election Process
In accordance with the Board Election Policy, nominations must be received by Monday, October 19, 2026.
Nominations will be published Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
Election Dates, Times and Location
Ballots can be cast at the Elks Hall on 172 Holloway Street in McBride
Friday, November 27th from 9am until 4pm
Saturday, November 28th from 9am until 1pm
