The McBride Community Forest Managers, staff and many volunteers (laborers and equipment) dug in and rolled out the carpet to lend a hand with the flooding along the Dominion Creek.  These amazing people filled and placed many many many bags of sand helping to divert the rising waters from damaging homes along the Dominion Creek.  They placed geotextile carpet along the banks on 1st Avenue to also help reduce any further erosion of the roadway, helping maintain its’ stability and the alternate route to the residents and high school on the other side of the flood area.  Just wanted to make sure you knew you are all very much appreciated, thanks a million!
